Week #9

DALTON "Two-Stroke" GEETINGS


Senior - WR/DB

In last Friday's regular-season finale, Dalon had the ol' two-stroke engine running the red line as he amassed 150 yards from the line of scrimmage, a number of pass brake-ups and racked up six total tackles. Mr. Geetings and his teammates came up a bit short on the scoreboard but left Cheboygan with more than enough fresh fuel for the start of the MHSAA playoffs and a memorable second season.

ROWAN ZICKERT

Sophomore - QB/S

Zickert had quite a game Thursday against Cheboygan, with 274 yards of total offense! Tack on a pick on defense, and Rowan and his teammates had a fantastic last game of the season.

Week #8

GRAYSON "The Rock" CONVERSE


Junior - OL/DL

Grayson has been a rock all season long on the offensive and defensive lines, and this past Friday was no different. He led the way for over 300 total yards on the ground, didn't allow a sack, and secured 6 huge tackles on defense, one of which was a "never give up" backside pursuit tackle that put the anchors down on a would-be opponent touchdown. "The Rock" and his teammates are determined to continue to improve and finish the regular season strong as they travel to Cheboygan this Friday.

PARKER PRITCHETT

Freshman - OL/LB

Parker's solid offensive line play and outstanding linebacker play were evident all over the field. Parker helped the team control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football helping the team earn a victory over Glen Lake.

Week #7

JACOB “Jilly” GILLISON

Senior - RB/DB

Jacob led the Homecoming festivities with over 100 rushing/receiving/ return scrimmage yards, a touchdown, 6 total tackles, a memorable post-game senior walk, and "got Jilly with it" on the Homecoming dance floor. "Jilly" and his teammates look to continue to improve with two games remaining in the regular season and are striving to peak at the right time... DAUNTLESS style.

These boys controlled the line of scrimmage all night long! Their efforts led the team to a victory! Go Huskies!

JACOB KOSCIELSKI

Week #4 - 8th Grade - CB/SWR

After scoring his first touchdown last week, Jacob continued the trend against Mancelona scoring both a rushing and receiving TD. He also had some amazing tackles on defense.

Week #6

"Action" JAXON CHILDERS

Senior - RB/DB

Big-time games call for big-time plays and players, and Friday's game at Boyne City's Homecoming had PLENTY of big-time plays and players. But Jaxon led the "action" on both sides of the ball with nearly 200 yards of total offensive (receiving/running), 2 touchdowns, 6 tackles, and multiple pass break-ups. He and his teammates made a DAUNTLESS-like effort together and BECAUSE they did, they PREVAILed with L.U.C.K. on their side.

Week #3 - 7TH Grade - Quarterback


Archie has been a great leader on the offense this season He showed it this week by throwing for one touchdown and running in for two others!

Week #5

J.J. “Kid Dyno-Mite” KOSCIELSKI

Senior - RB/LB

Even though the result on the scoreboard wasn’t what he wanted, his efforts on the field were DAUNTLESS nonetheless. “Kid Dyno-Mite” racked up 10 tackles, some tough yardage as a running back, and led the way on all special teams units. J.J.’s leadership and experience are going to lead the way next week at Boyne City.

MASON CHILDS

JV -Sophomore - RB/WR/OLB

Mason had an outstanding game Thursday against Charlevoix scoring three touchdowns. He also had a big game on the defensive side helping the Huskies with a 22-20 victory.

STAS KATT

MS Week #2 - 7th Grade - RB/MLB

Stas had a great week on offense catching a 60 yard screen pass and throwing some monster blocks. Stas is also one the anchors of our defense.

Week #4

JOSEPH “The Professor” MORSE

Varsity - Senior - OL/LB

Joe had a rock-solid effort at offensive tackle (A+ pass protection and master communicator as a run blocker") and played off the charts as an outside linebacker. (4 solo tackles and multiple assists). He is a leader in the classroom, servant leader within the football program, and a role model for any young Husky out there that desires to make his family, friends and community proud. "The Professor" lives every day DAUNTLESS.

DAYNE GILLISON

JV - Sophomore - S/WR/RB

Dayne was all over the field both offensively and defensively. Dayne rushed for over 100 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. He also had 7 defensive tackles.

TRACE WENKEL

MS Week #1 - 7th Grade

Trace did an outstanding job this week scoring a touchdown and playing tough on defense. Trace was one of the leading tacklers on the team. Go Huskies.

Week #3

MICHAEL “P-File” PFEIFFER

Varsity - Senior - OL/LB

Michael was at the center of the action all night long in another last second non-conference loss this past Friday. He led the defense with 9 total tackles and paved the way for nearly 400 total yards in offensive. P-Fife’s leadership and DAUNTLESS mentality will help his team get back on track to achieve its goals.

ROWAN ZICKERT

JV - Sophomore - QB/S/LB

Ro led the team in yards from the line of scrimmage. Defensively he led the team in tackles for this tough week #3 game against the Frankfort Panthers.

Week #2

TYRONE “Shoelace/ T-Bone” BROUILLET

Varsity - Senior - RB/DB

Tyrone led the charge in an oh-so-near-victory versus Hudson with 13 total tackles and an epic post-corner-of-the-endzone route for a touchdown. Tyrone can’t wait for the opportunity to tie up his shoelaces and t-bone his next opponent. And neither can we.

MASON CHILDS

JV - Sophomore - RB/WR/OLB

In this tough match-up against the Hudson Tigers, Childs led the team in tackles. He was relentless and all over the field.

Week #1

DANNY “Mullet” WALLINGTON

Varsity - Senior - QB/LB

Danny accumulated over 300 total yards of offense while connecting on 5 touchdown passes against Elk Rapids even after cutting his famed mullet. “Mulletless” will continue to provide leadership and spark throughout the 2023 season.

FINN SMITH

JV - Freshman - RB/LB

Finn’s high school football debut was stellar with Smith leading the team in tackles. Finn also ran for 105 yards and had 4 touchdowns.
