The Benzie Central Flag Football program’s goal is to introduce simple organized football to boys and girls that are at least 4 years old through 6th grade. The focus of the league is on having fun, but it is especially true for this level: learning the basics of the game, working together as a team, and having a great time while running around!

Each child will be placed on an age-appropriate team/division.

Our younger players loved playing in front of a crowd, so other than one pre-season practice (September 10th), all practice/games will take place at the halftime of the JV (Thursdays) or Varsity (Friday) home games. Prior to the start of the game, each team will be able to practice. All teams will be asked to practice on the track inside of the stadium. As soon as halftime of the HS contest begins, so do our games!!!

The schedule will be the following:

PRE-SEASON PRACTICE & PICTURE DAY: September 10 (6 pm @ the high school stadium’s field)

GAME #1: September 12 (halftime of the JV game vs. Frankfort) - Thursday Game

GAME #2: September 19 (halftime of the JV game vs. Tawas) - Thursday Game

GAME #3: September 26 (halftime of the JV game vs. Charlevoix) - Thursday Game

GAME #4: October 10 (halftime of the JV game vs. Boyne City) - Thursday Game

GAME #5: October 17 (halftime of the JV game vs. St. Francis) - Thursday Game
